In this episode I’m joined by Lauren Turner, the owner and trainer of Ideal Dog in the United States, to discuss her work in the dog training industry and how she came to realise the importance of nutrition in behaviour modification.
Lauren received a Bachelor’s of Science in Behavioral Science from the U.S. Air Force Academy, then started her adult career in the U.S. Air Force where she served for five years as a Special Agent with the Office of Special Investigations. The moment she was able, Lauren rescued a young pit bull from an animal shelter in Georgia who was scheduled to be euthanised within a few hours. This dog would later become Lauren’s ignition for entering the dog training industry.
Once Lauren separated from the Air Force, she immediately followed her passion and opened Ideal Dog. Lauren separates herself from traditional dog training services because she strives to provide exceptional, lifelong dog training results by training and rehabilitating dogs holistically. She helps each dog she works with realise their full potential by not only teaching the dog new behaviours, but ensuring they are thriving physically via nutrition and movement analysis, and making certain they are living a fulfilling life via appropriate physical outlets and leadership within the home.
Join me as we listen to Lauren’s story and hear case studies which highlight the amazing results she has achieved through diet modification.
